Preparing with Care

The Slow Simmer

Selecting the Fruit

The fruit is washed, hand-cut, and gently crushed to preserve texture.


We don’t rush — the goal is to keep each piece intact, full of natural sweetness and aroma.

For our infused jams, like Muse and Dawn, herbs and teas are steeped slowly to draw out their fragrance before blending.

The heart of our process — where time and temperature matter most.


We simmer everything in small copper pots, never in large industrial vats.


Each batch is stirred by hand to prevent overcooking, ensuring the fruit keeps its brightness and character.

We begin with real, ripe fruit — never concentrates, never frozen blends.


Every batch starts fresh, sourced from trusted local growers and small suppliers we know by name.

 

Only fruit that passes our tasting table makes it into the pot.

We use organic cane sugar and wildflower honey — just enough to complement, never overpower.


Natural fruit pectin brings the perfect set without unnecessary additives.


We taste, adjust, and taste again until it’s right.

When the texture turns glossy and rich, it’s ready.


Each jar is hand-filled, sealed while warm, and labeled with care.


No machines rushing the process — just human hands and patience.

Before reaching you, every jar rests — allowing the flavours to settle and bloom.

JAR started in my kitchen, with a pot of simmering fruit and a quiet desire to make something that felt real again.


I wanted flavours that tasted like feelings — gentle, deep, and pure.


JAR is my way of sharing calm in the chaos.
